Mrs. Thorne
Mrs Thorne has been teaching in the Langley School District for 14 years. She has 2 sons, Carter (11) and Keaton (8). She loves to run, play basketball, watch her boys play sports and laugh with friends. Mrs. Thorne has taught French for 12 years, and at the age of 18, she moved to Monaco for 1 year and was a nanny for 4 girls. She loves to learn. She has a passion for teaching leadership, and believes that social responsibility is such an important part of a learning community. She is very excited about this upcoming year!

Ms. Lopez is a new addition to the Langley School District and is very excited about her future in Langley. Her favourite part about being a teacher is getting to know her students and building a positive classroom environment. Her favourite hobbies are reading, baking and playing many different sports, especially volleyball and spike ball. Her favourite books are Wonder and A Wrinkle in Time. She loves learning new languages. She can speak three: English, French and Spanish. If anyone knows how to speak another language, she would love to learn it!"
